Are we going into a civil war?





A heated debate online brings up the prospects of civil war. History has its way of repetition. We are living through monumental moments that will be passed down to generations to come. People are actively fighting for rights and advocating them aggressively, and although there are differences in opinions, it is necessary to acknowledge that it is important to give people an opportunity to voice their opinions. But this mass voicing of rights is leading to more divisions within society. If all that is to be learned from past errors is not and if history is to repeat itself, then so be it. As a society, it is important to put differences aside and adopt the culture of being together. Respect among beliefs is necessary with or without agreement. Everyone should heed and listen to every opinion. This is what should be advocated in history—love and comprehension for everyone.
