Magic in the Stars

 


We just crawled out of a noisy Mercury retrograde, and yes, it was a doozy. Mercury stationed direct on August 11 in our time zone, and the fog is already lifting, even though the post-shadow lingers until August 25. Translation for real life: fewer glitches, fewer mixed signals, and a little more room to breathe and be clear. Think of this week as cosmic cleanup, where your inbox and your brain finally start cooperating again.

Right on cue, Venus cozies up to Jupiter, the classic feel-good duo, for a bright conjunction on August 12. That is your luck window. It’s creativity, charm, generosity, morning coffee that actually works, and a nudge to say yes to something you want. If you peek outside before sunrise, you can even spot the pair low in the east. Use this energy to pitch, post, apply, create, flirt, or simply enjoy the vibe.

Are all the planets moving forward now? Not quite. Mercury is direct, and that helps a lot, but Saturn is retrograde until late November, Neptune until December 10, and Pluto until mid-October. That means the sky is giving you a green light with a few orange cones. Go ahead with fresh starts, just keep them grounded and intentional. If something asks for patience or revision, take the hint and polish it. Your momentum is real, and your timing gets better every day this month.

Letting Go

This year has been challenging for many. The desire to return to normal is strong, but what was once perceived as normal may never exist again. All suffering stems from attachment to people, places, and things. Losing a loved one can take years to overcome, and for some, the grief never truly fades.
